I always loved mustangs with chrome wheels but with the last 2 generations they seem far and few between, so if you got a pic of the S550 on chrome, lets see the BLING!:D

I wanted chrome wheels on mine. Could not find any I liked, with square set up. I went with the CDC Outlaw in silver.(20 X 10 square) Maybe one day will have enough money to get them chromed.

gloss black > flat/matte/satin black > anything else > chrome

for the s550 at least.

All opinion of course. I like chrome on older muscle cars.

Nope

Look at automotive history. Rattle can finishes come and go, like bell bottom jeans, but chrome is a staple.

Personally I wish all black, murdered out (especially black wheels, look like painted steel cop car wheels) would go the way of the dodo bird lol.

But, alas, everyone has their own taste.

I'm gonna guess you're over 50?:D

Chrome is dead, unless you take a ride through the ghetto where it's very much still alive.

Nope. 41. But I do build hot rods with lots of chrome.

Go take a ride to a real car show where people actually build cars and not just bolt shit on and bitch about what the factory should have done. THAT is where it's at. People who actually can appreciate other people's taste for the talent and work they put into it. See what you see there where true craftsmen are at work and not some transformed ricer with a rattle can of plastidip who thinks it's better because of some sales pitch. That's right. Lots of chrome on custom made stuff.

Admittedly, I was born way too late to enjoy the hay day era of hot rodding. But I really like chromed out, shiny hot rods with late model muscle and gadgetry
