I have never bought anything from you but with this reply, you would win my business:cheers:No, that's not at all what happened.
I don't make a habit of making labels and sitting on them for days. That's how orders fall through cracks.
As I said before, your label was made the 10th, just like the email says and dropped off the next day. Also funny, I didn't drop the knob off at the post office at 63146, I dropped it off at 177 Weldon Pkwy, Maryland Heights, MO 63043. Which is on my way home and to work.
Things with shipping are done the same way every time. Just like evo got his tracking last night and it shipped today. Stunning how that works.
Your surprise and insinuation that I'd sit on your knob for a week is a tad ridiculous. What purpose would it serve me to sit on your product for a time when I'd already made the label and packed the box. Did you ever pause to think that possibly, just possibly, the USPS isn't some infallible gov't agency and that MAYBE, just maybe their tracking isn't reliable by any standard?
Here's a knob, with an extremely similar instance. It's happened before. This one ended up going to Guam, before finally reaching it's destination in Orange County.
this is unreal by Derrick Tackett, on Flickr
But lemme guess, the post office got that one right too? Every other knob managed to have live tracking the day after I shipped it, usually it takes 24-48 hours. Sometimes they take longer, it happens. 2 day priority is not, nor has it ever been a guarantee by the USPS.
We can go round and round all day. BUT, the fact remains, it shipped the day I said it did. Sometimes things happen with the post office and they don't go smoothly. Sucks, but such is life. It's not like I could hand deliver them, it'd be much easier if I could.
The knobs you make ARE AMAZING:first:
