Honestly, how bloody difficult is it to remove the overhead interior light housing to put in LED bulbs?

I have tried 4 to 5 times and I feel as if I am going to rip the entire housing from the ceiling. Ugh, I simply want to upgrade those awful yellow lights.

Thus far I’ve watched quite a few videos on this, and everyone seems to simply pull the housing straight down, with ease!?!

It definitely felt like I was going to snap the dash panels when I was pulling those off the first time. The clips hold it in strongly but I wouldn't worry tooo much if you're pulling it straight off. The only time to worry is if you do it at an angle then it could snap.

You can use a small flat screwdriver and remove the lenses and swap the bulbs that way.

Hmm, I will try the option to remove the diffuser. I hope the bulb doesn’t fall into the housing. LOL
