Ceramic leather interior here as well... it’s an awesome color upholstery that breaks up the redundant black motif; everyone who sees it gives positive comments. This is my 2nd S550 where I chose Ceramic over the other interior options and would do it again. I agree the color online is not representative of the color in person, but I made my initial decision with my prior 2016 by viewing actual images of S550’s w/Ceramic interior rather than artist renders.

Personally I’d never install any floor mats that are lighter than black ... LOL. Anything lighter is going to show staining more so than just the normal “dirt/debris” tracked in on top of the floor mat.

At least with black, the staining is subdued and can’t really be seen, unless of course the stain is due to chemical bleaching or is a color lighter than black.

I love my Ceramic and made sure to see it in person before I ordered. It's hard enough to keep the seats clean, so I stuck with black mats - winter and summer.

If anyone is thinking of ordering the tan seats then don't worry, they look great.
I have tan seats and a white '18 GT.
Just wanted to say what a nice looking dog you have there :)

Hi, finally got back here. Yes, I got leather.

Thing is, the wife has some claustrophobia and doesn't like black because she feels trapped. Personally, I like black interiors.

So, I appreciate the response and will let you know when I find a solution.

Cheers! Oh yeah, here's a pic of the car.

Thanks. Have an appointment on the 10th to get the dual center stripes in white put on. After that, I'll put clear film on the front bumper area.

Wheels are LMR SVE SP2 in Matte Bronze. Tires are Nitto G-2 in 285/35-19. It has magneride and a manual 6-speed. Will also replace chrome badges with white ones to match the stripes.

The tires are more than 11 inches wide, but are not wide enough to cause tramming in street driving so far. It goes straight where it is pointed without moving around much. Admittedly, I'm in SoCal and have NOT cruised around yet on Oregon or Washington state roads. Studded snow tires cause a LOT of road damage up there. My last muscle car was a 2002 Camaro SS with 275s on it and it wandered around in the road dips in those states when I lived in Hillsboro, OR.

If I got a lighter seat color, I would definitely put on Ford seat covers from Amazon in black only. It would break up the color scheme, but it will keep your seats underneath like new. I use one on my driver's seat even though my interior is black. Seat will look like new at resale.

They are tricky to install.

Thanks!

Black would be just fine with me, but domestic harmony is more important. Wife doesn't like black because it makes her claustrophobic. She also loves the heated and cooled seats ... which will be much less effective if covered. I figure if I want pristine seats when I sell it down the road, I could always put in a set of Katzkin seat covers in leather at that time, if it would make enough difference to cover the cost. That's a toss-up.

Anyway, love the new GT. Hope I still do after a few years. That'll depend on the quality. If it is still tight and quiet, I'll be a convert, more than just now when it is new. Quality down the road is worth a lot to me. Haven't seen that in most cars and NEVER in a convertible, probably due to loss of stiffness with the ragtop or a T-top. My 2002 Camaro SS T-Top was quiet until I took the T-tops off the FIRST time. After that, the rattles started, and never quite stopped.
