So earlier this year I added the CVFab charge pipes kit and the turbosnart kompact dual port BOV.

It was fine for the past 2 months; no leaks, issues, weird sounds, or performance problems.

The other day I was pulling out from a stop sign and accelerated moderately, in sport mode, but calm throttle. letting it Rev out like: normal slow build to each gear shift, auto trans.

As it shifted to third at around 3k rpm, I heard a bang, something start to rattle from the front and then out the back of the car, and then air wooshing noises when accelerating.

Of course, first thought is one of the boots finally gave way and I'll have to replace it. I was seconds away from my parents house, put it up on ramps opened the hood and checked things out.

Here's where it gets weird: all the boots and clamps were tight, nothing missing. No gaps in any connection. Checked where the boots go to the intercooler, and it's all solid. Checked the BOV and it looks sealed.

Looking at the body of the intercooler I can't really tell without fully unmounting it, so there I'm not sure, but from the outside it looks fine

Checked the air intake tube and all the other ones, nothing is broken, loose or cracked.

Could it be that the intercooler blew?

I have the SCT doing data logging for gauges at all times, and since it was cold I make sure it doesnt go into boost. I think when it blew it was around -2 or -1psi (or so it read).

I let it sit for a bit and drove it around the block to see if I could tell what it is, but can't make heads or tails of what could be wrong, any ideas?

TL:DR - hearing air wooshing on any acceleration, everything looks fine, could the intercooler have blown?

I agree. Smoke test and the boot could have ripped, not popped off. A small rip might be hard to find with the naked eye.

Whelp, I feel dumb (ish) but it's fixed.

The bung on the CVFab cold side pipe had shot out, and I couldn't see that it was until the pipe was removed.

Luckily the threads were still intact, so I got a new plug and put some blue thread locker on it.
