I watch outside air temparature and i take air temperature.

I've noitced recently that intake temp used to be outside temperature + 3-5 degrees, but recently it became +10 gedrees.

I wonder if there's some flap that regulates how much cold air gets from outside and how much warm air gets from u der the hood.

Is there such thing and how to check if it works properly?

No flap that I know of. Only time you're going to get accurate intake air temperature readings is after driving down the road for quite a while with absolutely no sitting in traffic along the way ... ie, a long constant drive on the freeway. The intake tube will pick heat up from the engine compartment, especially if not moving very fast where there's not air flowing through the engine compartment.

I typically see the intake temperature within 3 degrees of the outside air temp reading if on a long highway cruise.

I thought one of the models had a flap that closes at higher speeds for better aerodynamics but it’s not the PP?

The S550’s prior to 2018 had the shutter system in front of the rad (behind the front grille) that was supposed to improve fuel economy. Someone correct me if I’m wrong, but I don’t think any 2018-2019’s have the shutter system. IIRC, I think the 2015-2017 EB w/PP had the shutter system, not sure if the same year GTs had it or not.
