installing new injectors

perhaps a dumb question but currently I am running a flex tune and E85. I am planning on going FI over the winter and it was recommended to also install new injectors. could I install those now and keep my current tune? the ones I am looking to install are the ford racing M9593LU47

Some of the supercharger kits comes with injectors. What supercharger are you going for?

either the ess or the procharger both tuner kits. im leaning more to the ess as its a lot cheaper and seems to have good reviews. i talked to them and they recommended i upgrade my stock injects with the 47# ones. so i am wondering if i can do that now with my flex tune and not screw it up or need a revision on it.

If I was in your shoe, I would wait and install it at the same time and get the one time tune. I’m almost positive you’ll need a retune. Also, try getting bigger injectors imo.

Injector size change will require a retune. No way around that.

Lu47 is small I would go mu52. Also you know that you probably will loose your flex fuel tune with a supercharger. The ess is ok if you only want a little boost

not sure why the 52s are cheaper than the 47 on amazon right now. id be happy making 600hp and not having to upgrade the oil pump gears, clutch, etc. also melting my cats. the e85 flex is good but the closest source is 20 miles from me so its a pita having to go every couple of weeks to fill up.

20 miles to get E85 isn’t too bad. I think you should try and tune for it with the blower and take advantage of all that it has to offer. Otherwise, 93 pump gas should be more than adequate for 600 rwhp. Is your tuner going to require a return fuel system in order to tune your supercharged car? Are you running a BAP too?
