I told my wife that the OPGs were needed and that car is going into the shop. She approved this. What she did not approve and had no idea that I did headers behind her back until couple days ago I made the mistake of doing a cold start in the garage with both doors open and she looked at me and said "Do you think I am stupid?" Now I am in trouble and looking to tone this exhaust down. So aftermarket cats never last so looking for resonators. What part of cat back are you guys welding the resonators into? And any tips on what resonators to use? I did do a search on this topic but seemed to end up talking about H-pipe and X-Pipe. I have the H-Pipe.

LOL. I bet your wife just bitch slapped you. For posting that meme.
My wife doesn't tell me what I can and can't do. Anyway I was just messing with you, I know everyone's marriage is different. Didn't mean to derail your thread.

I can do what I want also. But there is a part of marriage called respect. For me to go balls to the wall on this car money wise would just be selfish and disrespectful on my part so when I say I am in trouble that is just a figure of speech.

LOL. I told her that the shop did not tighten the exhaust completely. She believed me. So I have to get some resonators quick. Then I will take car to exhaust shop install them and then tell her when I get back that they tightened the loose bolts and then I am out of the dog house. So help me out guys. Resonators I need some.

I think there are some called Vibrant Performance. If I'm not mistaken. Maybe your exhaust shop could install some for you since you all of a sudden have to get the exhaust "tightened" again. *wink wink*.

LOL. Yea. My main concern is where to install them.

Go behind her back and then lie about it, thats straight up respect! Lol

Kidding, just giving you a hard time...

I've read where some people have put some race bullet mufflers in with great results. Look at Dynomax or Magnaflow, look on Jegs.com

Oh, duh, forgot the rest. I heard the further back in the exhaust you mount them, the quieter it will be. This is just what I've heard second hand.

My setup has two 6" case mini bullet resonators on the midpipe right behind the long tubes (look just like high flow cats) I have two 18" case dynomax bullets mid mounted behind my X pipe and right before the rear diff. I have no suitcase resonator nor rear mufflers. I'm installing my headers Friday so I'll know for sure how it sounds with the headers but it's pretty quiet as it sits with just the 18" long bullets I actually want it louder. My wife's GT is louder than mine right now. I feel emasculated lol.
