Just curious, has anyone taken notice as to what your ‘Inlet Air Temp’ reading is directly after initial start up (before moving car to drive)?

Post up your read out and exterior temp.

Mine matches the ambient temp (within a degree or two).

Assuming the car's been sitting overnight, it should be about the same as ambient. If it's been sitting for just a few hours during the day, it will likely be just about the same as the cylinder head temperature.

When the engine is cold, the IAT is at ambient. If restarting a few minutes after shutting off a hot engine, it will be at least 120+.
