ITB's are not going to make huge horsepower unless everything else in the intake/exhaust side of the motor has been maximized. Its kind of like the final piece of a very expensive N/A puzzle. And even then you'll make less power than a $5k supercharger kit lol.

I've always wondered this myself since the release of the Borla kits. Note, these kits DO NOT work with the stock PCM, so it's not a straight forward install. An aftermarket PCM and conversion to cable linkage is required. If you guys are curious about placing any orders for a serious build, we have these kits available for purchase on the website!

Let us know if you have any other questions.

Thanks.

Cable linkage conversion? I was under the impression that they offered a DBW version as well.

All of the Borla Induction systems are cable actuated, and even if drive by wire was an option, an aftermarket stand-alone PCM is still required to run them. I did put in a call to Borla to clarify if they have anything in the works for DBW so once they update us, we'll post up to let you know of any new products available.

These kits were obviously developed for some application... but a plenum of some type has always been a more effective and consistent way to administer normal aspiration.

Thanks for the info! I know this wouldn't be the most powerful build but it would certainly be unique.

I ran in the N/A Honda crowd for years. They were pointless until you have the compression and flow to run them. Most N/A guys were running 13:1+ compression.

I mean, If I had an unlimited budget my car would be powered by a MMR 400ci tall deck block, worked gt350 heads, and some of these itbs. But all of that would probably rival the cost of the car itself.

for the love of god someone PLEASE put a set of itb's on a GT350!

not everything needs to be boosted with 294857 hp and run 9s.

this would be absolutely insane on the voodoo engine with all that flat plane crank goodness!
