Thanks, DJ. I'm feeling good about the repairs and paint being done correctly. I've done my homework and I think I've found the best body shop in this area. And so far, Geico has been easy to work with. What sucks is I'm gonna be without my Stang for 3 weeks or so.

My wife is a Clemson grad and I almost got her to buy a garnet Honda Pilot a few years back. It didn't take her long to catch on to my plot! :doh:

Plasti-Dip, huh? Maybe Rough Hollow Man and I could get a group discount on a few gallons of purple and gold.

How are the Gamecocks looking this year? I think the Tigers are ranked around 12 or 13 in pre-season polls, but we'll see. I'm ready for cool weather and football. :cheers:

My oldest daughter graduated from Clemson and her sister currently attends University of South Carolina. It's always a treat when the schools play each other in sports

Dropping Ruby off at the shop Wednesday morning.

I confirmed that Geico is springing for a full size rental for me to drive while she's down.

Called Enterprise and they're telling me that full size is usually a Camry, Altima or Charger.

Told them a Charger SRT Hellcat would be just fine. The Enterprise guy didn't know what I was talking about.

Probably best that I don't have a 707 HP Hellcat rental to drive for a few weeks. :cheers:

I've been going to USC for over 22 years and still don't have a degree :headbonk:
Buy I've brought home plenty of pay checks in that time. Your daughter takes classes in classrooms my crew built. We install all the classroom technology.

Update on Ruby. The repair estimate is now a bit north of $8k. Geico has approved the repairs at this amount. Should get her back the end of September or early October.

Repairs at this body shop take a while, but they do excellent work.

Sorry to see this happen.
At least they stopped and owned up to it. Geico seems to be a good company from the experiences in my family.

TY and RR are tough colors to paint but doesnt mean it cant be done right. Just do a little homework before you choose a shop.

If you were in Socal, I could direct you to the shop that is prepping and painting my hood.

Good luck and Im sure she will be good as new.
