It is probably already in the rear sad card slot. First time you run gps, you have to select the path. Select gps, then click run gps. On the upper right, I think, is the place where you click to select the path. Have to drill down thru 1 or 2 folders. Can't go out to my car to check right now, unfortunately.

Shot you a PM. Looks like a few of the kits from recent batch were missing the SD card in slot from manufacturer. We have more SD cards on the way to us now and will be shipping out priority as soon as they come in.

Tried emailing you a few days ago Moddicition about any updates and an issue with my unit. Sometimes when I put it in reverse, the unit tells me to check the Backcar and the connections, but other times it works perfectly fine.

Anything saying an error for backup camera wouldn't have anything to do with our unit. It would be an issue with the backup camera.

Does this unit have HDMI out? I use HDMI out to convert to optical so it goes digitally into my processor.
Can it take an SD/MicroSD card or USB flash/hard drive?
Does it play FLAC files?

The first two are a requirement for me unless the unit has at least 200GB of storage to waive my second requirement, which is very unlikely.

Does this unit work with Apple CarPlay? To be honest, I want to buy this unit, but I do not want the navigation that comes with it and would instead want to use the apple "maps" app instead. Is that possible with this unit? Also, what are the current problems people are experiencing with this unit? I am on the fence with pulling the trigger on this one.

You can mirror with the adapter but not actual Carplay.

No Carplay or android auto unfortunately.

You can use HDMI input and use MAPs from iphone though via screen mirroring.

This model does not work for those with the factory 8" screen. There is another kit we may sell that works for the premium models though. As for now we are just focusing on the stock 4" replacement though.

Any updates on the Sync2 to Sync3 for the premium folks yet? This Sync2 really sucks. So wonky and so many glitches.
