You can try hitting reset system and see if it uploads new software. If not it may not loaded to USB drive correctly.

That didn't work. I reformatted the drive and went to your email and saved file as to the usb drive and same results. Not sure what I'm doing wrong.

Do what I suggested. I ran into the same problem with the instructions.

Put the files on the USB stick, put the stick in the 3rd USB port, go to settings, system settings and then system update. That worked for me, the reboot didnt.

There is no root directory option on the flash drive that I can see. When I open the E drive, its the only file on the drive. Is there more than 1 USB ports on the back of the unit? If so, is it possible the cord is plugged in to the wrong port? Meaning having to take apart the dash again? Thanks

The root directory is the drive itself. So right when you double clikc your E:, you should see your 13+ files.

Does music play off your USB drive? I'd so, its hooked up right.

Do I move the whole file from your email to the usb or just the update part when I open the file to the flash drive?

Download file, unzip it and then copy and paste entire contents into flash drive. You can't just copy the folder. Open folder and then copy/paste. Should load 19 items to flash drive I believe.
