So I tried a different usb thumb drive and the video doesn't freeze up and I'm super happy with the unit but the navigation is really frustrating it freezes the whole thing up and all I can do is wait for it to crash and reboot itself. It looks like it has something to do with haveing the usb movie and the nav running at the same time. Causing the memory error.

The system is simply running out of memory that's why it's throwing this exception I might have a solution for you
Pm me so we can try it

So took everything apart today, found where two wires were not completely secured in the connector. So that fixed everything except, the temp. and the hdmi port. The temp reads 50* when the is not running and 77* when the car is running. When I plug the hdmi cord into my phone it will work for a few moments then starts getting static on the screen and cuts out the volume.

It seems the time will jump for some. Usually that is when settings are off in navigation settings. Can be fixed by just trying a different time zone though. I've never had that issue on my unit.
I've tried multiple time zones. The hour will still jump around every time the car is turned off.

I know, right? I just hope this gets sorted out quickly or I'm gonna feel like I bought a TomTop unit for twice the price.

Maybe I should have waited on pre-ordering one..

Dont get me wrong...the unit is a huge improvement over the tiny screen. But something like the clock not working right doesn't inspire much confidence. Sounds to me like the programming still has plenty of bugs. Maybe this got released a bit early.

Yeah I'm just hoping the updates will fix things. This is already starting to sound like the same common issues as with the Tom top unit.

Has anybody's unit just randomly started to reboot? Maybe it's too hot ?

There should be no time issues. I've tested software on multiple units without any issues. This system uses the stock clock. Time zone setting must be off in system or nav settings for that to be happening.

So far all other issues I've seen mentioned have been from loose connections or things not wired up.

Not mine. Had the screen on for 45 minuted while driving in 78 degree weather. No signs of overheating. Maybe someone in hotter weather can chime in.

I've had mine in 100+ degree weather. No issues. Sounds like a loose connection.

Everything about my screen works 100%
Idk if it's cause I've done so many installs on my old Tomtop or what

If that's the case, what settings should be changed? Changing the time zone did nothing for me. As for NAV settings, which do you recommend I check?
