I can't shut down the nav app after the error because it's frozen. I have to shut the car off and restart to get it to work again
What I meant was this error could be caused by the nav app, so try to exit the nav app and then try to play the video and see if you still get the error.

Ok thanks I'll try that.

The little tab on the inside you have to push so it can be separated.

So far it's been the hardest part of the install, there are tabs on both sides of it that almost have to be deformed in order to get the thing out and then the whole process has to be reversed in order to get it in the new unit.

Finally got it done.

Ok, so once you remove the cd player and connect the harness wires to the factory connectors, do you plug the original connectors back into the factory cd player or use the 2 new connectors that are left?

all of the buttons that are being replaced by the 8" screen I presume I don't put the rubber button pads back in for those, is that correct?

And more exactly the rubber button pad for the 9 key arrow group needs to be cut to fit since the buttons under it are no longer there, is this correct?

Moddiction My time keeps jumping around every time I restart the car. The radio presets remain saved, but not the hour. What do you suggest?

I didn't cut anything. I just transferred the rubber from arrows (rectangle) and rubber beneath it (long oval). The only rubber I didn't reuse were the top two squares where key pad and menu pads were.

I'll have to check that out on Monday. Mine stays locked to correct time whenever I turn car off and back on.
