Here is my experience with the New screen upgrade. The screen is works great. it is smooth when going from one screen to the next. Nice Flow. But I have noticed a couple of things. First thing I noticed once installed was, I was no longer able to use siri voice command. (I have a 2016 Mustang GT BASE) Before you were able to hold the talk button and use siri like you normal would. Send TXT msg, Switch playlist, Open up music apps, Get direction and/or make phone calls. That I think was an amazing feature and it No longer works. You can't long press the talk button. Instead you just get the Ford Voice Rec. anyway. I really really hope they can fix that. That's my main issue. The other ones I can live with. The time thing. Yup mine does it to. Central time set. Manual adjust the time to the correct time. The next time you start it up its one hour behind. I don't know if it is something to do with Day lights saving or what. Easy fix I hope. Next is something small but ill point out. The USB plays video which is awesome. But so far It only plays MP4. In all fairness I've only tried two more type which was an .AVI file. It played but no sound and .MKV file which doesn't show up in the folder at all. The last thing I Noticed was the screen mirroring. I'm glad to say it works. lol At first I plugged it in and I wouldn't work right. Like that old Tv on analog that had bad reception. It full of static. But I played with the cable and looks like I didn't have it all the way plugged in. So after that it work beautifully.

In closing hopefully the Siri Hands free can be fix or addressed with a software update and if not I would definitely suggest letting 16+ Mustang owner know that they will lose that functionality.

Over all I still love it and would buy it again if I could do it over.
The screen also wont show when you receive a text message. The little envelope would light up on the 4.3" screen when you received a message. Now, it doesn't do that on the new screen. Could just be mine. Not sure.

For the Siri and text issues are you connected to the original sync usb's or the new usb connected to the unit ?

What's the easiest way to get the bottom tabs out to pull the radio out?

Haven't done the install myself yet but there are [at least] 2 videos of similar installs on Youtube. One shows the guy shimmying the bottom out; this one [ame="[MEDIA=youtube]iCmrXcuWETM[/MEDIA]"]OEMRadio[/ame] shows loosening the center console and pulling it back [which is what you needed to do in the '05] to get the bezel out. I'm planning on the second way when I do mine.

I removed the center console to have more room. Also to run the HDMI cable to the center console.

Lucky you. I set to Central time and it was off by like 8 hours. I ended up picking some random time zone that had the correct hour. But hey, as long as the time stays correct, I don't care what the time zone says in settings.
Update - So yea, my time is all over the place. Different every time I start the car.

It would be through Bluetooth. Not plugged in. On 2016 and newer.

Yes sir, you are correct:thumbsup:. Just want to test out capabilities of theses $599 devices. So far I'm content. As soon as they figure out the Siri Hands free thing, ill be happy.

The Siri thing shouldn't be affected since it's using the stock sync software, you plugged everything back in correctly? I'm just reading everyone's posts because I wanted this unit after having a Tomtop unit for awhile and hoped I could help a few questions.
