Because this is for base cars, what these new head units do is more or less mirror what we already have but on a bigger screen.

I've been there. And Iraq. And other sandboxes. I've also been to more than one place in the US that's just as hot. Get over it.

Definitely looking forward to reviews of the unit and a thorough write up on the install. It looks like each one of these units requires slightly different installation techniques and modification to the stock bezel/frame.

Got a reply from Moddiction today, they are still loading software onto the units and then they will ship out today.

Also he tried to see if artwork was showing up from his iphone and it was not, said it might be a future update.

And it appears I got the last one in the first batch, yippee for me, lol.

There was a slight change with the unit last minute. The SD slot is now on the back of the unit for better performance. The nav maps are already loaded in there. For any future updates the supplied USB cable would be used which can be easily ran into the glovebox.
