I asked this question probably a year ago or so when not much information was available. Postponed getting a new car and now want to again and the Mustang is still top of my list. I still don't like the calculator looking base radio but don't want leather interior nor do I want to pay $4,000 just for the option to buy the nav. Can I easily put in a nav and maintain the back up camera etc? Or buy the OEM one somehow? Any links pointing to something that fits with prices would be helpful. Hoping its as simple as removing old unit putting in the new one...

Thanks in advance for any help.

There's a few write-ups in here about Tomtop "MFT" replacements.
The head unit cost around like $300 I believe, and there are some minor flaws if you can get passed them. Just do a simple forum search and you'll find it.

Edit: Yeah... it was about 3 posts down in this section

The base Sync system offers turn by turn directions if you subscribe to Sync Services. We used it alot with my wife's Focus and my ST. Not as nice as a full featured nav but gets the job done.
