Satellite Radio in Base model

I (unfortunately) found out that the base GT doesn't even come with the option to have satellite radio. Quite bummed about that. Anyone have any recommendations for solutions, or add on units that aren't dorky? Was seriously one of the main things i was looking forward to.

If you listen to music, streaming Pandora over Bluetooth from your phone is the way to go. I think someone mentioned that you can stream the satellite feed from an app, but I don't know for sure.

At least you can enjoy the fact that your car will be wart free!

Can the factory sound system be upgraded to XM? Or is it "XM ready"? I went to best buy last night looking for solutions to the problem, and they sell a module that can plug into "xm ready" decks. So is the mustang XM ready?

the sirius xm module is for aftermarket radios. i already pulled the stock radio out to see if there was a place to plug it in but no luck. to use the factory radio you have to get a special kit from ford but i guess they are not out yet. also found this http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item...d=271767567953

Sirius does have radios that plug into the aux input or run off a RF converter into the radio. I have a Stiletto which does this. Not sure what they offer now for add on/stand alone radios.
Try going to their website and checking their radios.
