Amazing how expensive these Shelby's are and how shitty the quality is.
lol. but we still buy them. I bought mine because if I didn't, I'd have a GT3 and be out 90k more. If you want perfection, buy a Porsche. I've owned one, I can attest to that. Perfection gets boring after a while though. Flaws add flavor to life.

I too was lucky, but not really I think. I mean as far as finish and quality goes my car was great. The dealer I bought it from is known for being anal about things, I mean my car was in the showroom, roped off.

Not to highjack, but can anyone recommend a good polisher ? I was looking to get a milwaukee one simply because I have chargers and batteries for my other milwaukee tools. Besides they are great tools.

I bought a Meguiar's dual action polisher several years ago. It has always worked well for me. I think any reputable brand will be okay.

thank you to your responses. I will post my 1 st drive impression in another post. Life is not perfect I went back Saturday to have another look before the sales guy got there. I meet the lad who checked the car in he said it was a glob of grease of the transportation truck that fell on strip and the dimple was in the plastic it was not the paint or clear coat it is really small hard to find even thou I know it is there. I decided it was not that big of deal. When I came back to close the deal the gm wrote it into the contract that the stripe and the dimple would be fixed at his or fords cost if I choose to have it done. After they really got on the delivery prep it was in much better shape. I will probally do stripe and try to get the cash out of them for the dimple. On my ride home I already picked up several stones behind the front wheels life is good.
