Mike face it. You know what's going to happen. You will get no info until about middle of next week. About a day a half after it hits Tidwell's lot they'll call you to come get it. I just hope they get their "feet wet" with yours so that when mine comes in it will be old news.

With my luck I bet yours comes in before mine.:shrug:

Early cars with defects can take much longer to ship than those produced later which include the fix.

Sounds like just a few hundred cars to me which are being ferried off site for the fix.

I'm use to ordering BMWs and waiting 6-8 weeks to travel across the Atlantic, get to port, and then to the dealer. I never thought I would be waiting anymore than a week to get a car that was built 687 miles away from me. :frusty:

This should be interesting because my dealer said my car and hopefully yours also will start shipping next week. :gossip: We shall see .

Sounds like just a few hundred cars to me which are being ferried off site for the fix.

My understanding is that cars built after around 11/2 have the seatbelt fix . So those cars should be shipped on time. But the plant said shipping from the plant can take 3 to 4 weeks to dealer.
