Monday I am going back to flat rock and I am going to demand an answer on my cars status and delivery date. I'm tired of the "sorry I can't answer that" and "sorry I can't help you" bullshit line. They do know and we deserve the truth!! Every Thursday ANA calls me from customer relations and she can never answer any questions or never has any information whether it's good or bad I do not believe this is the case. When I mentioned that I heard that the seatbelts are the issue she paused and said nothing. We the people of the Shelby world deserve an answer. And I will get it on Monday.

I'm not going there to look or take pics. I'm going to go there during hours and talk to someone face to face and try to get a real answer. I'm tired of getting no answer for over a month now. My vin is 0390. Others built after mine have already taken ownership of theirs and I want to know why and when I will see progress of ours. I am not the only one in this boat. It doesn't take 2 months to install 250 seat belts. My question is this and I ran this by my sales manager. I was told it's because of a seat belt problem. Fine I get that. Then be honest and tell us. But my question is along with the sales manager is why have they not deliver the vehicle to the dealer and the dealer can install the seatbelt. Dealers do recall work all the time. And then get the vehicle to its rightful owner. It's very simple very effective and makes people happy to have their car when it was originally supposed to be delivered and not sitting for months on end.

Ok man - I have to say - I admire you're assertiveness here but let's not get out of control. I just don't want to see you in trouble over this. I can see you're frustrated but demanding your car at the factory is asking Ford to change their entire delivery model and that's just not going to happen. The car isn't yours yet, legally - although after a deposit, a VIN and the car actually being built, I can empathize with the feeling of ownership.

Perhaps a Facebook group or some other campaign would get the attention you're after? Honestly, I don't think going there will change anything about the process and is more likely to get you in actual trouble.

I AM for getting you a camera with a REAL telephoto lens, though! You should see about renting one from a camera shop - I'll chip in!

How about asking Ford to create a new car delivery center? THAT would be cool. I know people say that we cant get in the factory because of how busy it is but look at all of these cars sitting. Tell me it wouldn't be easier to have them delivered a couple blocks away where a customer could pick up their new pride and joy in person? They would circumvent the cost and potential damage during shipping. I mean, this isn't going to help in the next year or so, but I think it would be cool overall.

Ford could solve this with an accurate order tracking system accessible by customers. With explanations on each status.

It isn't just a seatbelt thing. I'm betting there's another item that needs to be installed/changed, or something that needs to be checked, etc. There can be something as small as a PCV tube which needs to be changed. Every vehicle built before XXX date needs to be inspected and the part replaced. There also could be multiple components.

This also could take place during build cycles. Vehicles built before XXX date don't have the special component needed, and these were the early orders. Vehicles built after XXX date, later orders, had these component(s) installed at the factory and are able to be shipped. Sometimes being the early bird in terms of ordering doesn't guarantee you get your stuff first.

my vin is 0418 built 10/22 and still there, it has never been released for shipment at all, only update says built on 10/22 and nothing since that!

Relax. I'm not a nut job. But I will talk to them on a professional level. They can hear me out and maybe it will help. I think we all deserve this much.
