Illuminated door sills

I have a 2015 GT Premium with the 50 Years Edition package. Unlike other GT Premiums, it seems, with the edition of this appearance package, the door sills aren't illuminated. They are decent enough, but just the brushed aluminum. I've been thinking of adding illumination and have some questions for those who have done this.
There seems to be a couple of different options, one with My Color and one that just illuminates in an ice blue color. Would either or both of these work? Is the wiring harness present in my car already? I know splicing into the dome light wire would power the sill, but that probably would only work for the non-My Color option.
Any help would be appreciated.

There were threads on this a while back, I know that some added sills that had the illumination but not with my color. If I remember correctly, there was power to that location but it did not work with my color. I have left mine with the aluminum, and it has never bothered me.
