just get some from Fuse Fuel. https://www.facebook.com/FuseFuel and you'll know exactly what you have. Sunoco sells 54gallon barrels too but not cheap. Pump 'e85' is so cheap I have to wonder if there are major subsidies in place.

Fuse last quoted me $180 for 55gal but with shipping 255 or $4.6/gallon.
Damn, it's normally about 2.29 a gallon here. It was under $20 to fill my tank back when the prices were under $2. It was great!

Has it been proven that running 91-93 pump gas after running E85 for a bit actually cleans and lubricates the fuel system?
It's in the Ford flex fuel vehicles owner's manual. Your suppose to run a tank of gas at every oil change.

Just picked up an nGauge with plans to order a tune from Lund next week. Here is my dilemma:
  • Order a Flex-fuel tune?
    or
  • E85R and 93 tune?
I have E85 readily available within a few miles from my house. I also have 93 octane available. I've seen the debates about flex fuel vs. straight E85 and 93 tunes. I have a test tube arriving tomorrow. If the fuel tests out near or above 85% should I just run E85 with plans to switch over to 93 when it gets cold?
When I ordered through Lund last year, i couldn't order the Flex or E85R as standalone tunes which I was interested in. I had to pay $450 to tune for E and they offered all 3 tunes, i.e. 93, Flex and E85R for the price. If I needed only one tune they offered 93 tune for $250; for E85/Flex I had to pay the additional 200. The reason is they first data log you with the 93 tune and only after verifying the logs, the E tunes are sent out

If you need a Flex only tune go with PBD, they have that option.

On my mobile it doesn't show where the op is from, but if you're from California be assured you're always getting E85 a true 85.

is that a state-enforced metric? Do you have a citation?
