So I'm just curious if something is off with my car. I've had cars that alert you if it's below freezing but they did it when you first start the car. I've been driving the mustang in conditions well below freezing a lot but I've only gotten the warning twice. And both times it was after I had driven my entire way home and was idling in my driveway for a few minutes. Seems like a pointless warning to me since it was definitely the same temperature when I started the car. Is there a setting somewhere that might need to be changed?

I have not noticed this at all on my '15. I have been in temps down to 9.

My Maxima would alert at 35 degrees and below right after the car was started.

yea, it's strange. I figured I didn't have it, but sitting in my driveway playing with my phone I get an audible chime, voice alert, and a message on the dash. seems it would've been more appropriate to say "congratulations, you just drove in potentially icy conditions".

Maybe the car is so confident it doesn't even tell you.

If the vehicle does this it is only on PP Pack equipped vehicles I've had my Mustang out every day this winter and I've never had this warning. It makes sense though on the PP cars since Ford doesn't recommend driving those vehicles on the OEM tire in temperatures under 40 Degrees F.

oh man, I couldn't find it in the manual either. I guess I'm going to have to keep my camera ready to prove that I'm not crazy.

My friend's Camaro has this warning, I'd assume because Camaro drivers need all the help they can get. I've never seen it in my car.

Thats weird PP GT here and driven couple of times in negative temps, nothing happened, not even a click. When its icy and snowy i do put it on wet/snow mode i wonder that disables it lol as a full confidence mode :D

I've never seen it and have been out in -20C weather. My 135i chimed at me and had a dash light every time it got to 3C or colder. Hated it with a passion. Scared me every bloody time it went off - thinking something malfunctioned.
