I want stripes like these...

For awhile, I've wanted to get blue stripes on my car, a 50 Years LE in Wimbledon White. The inspiration was the original GT350, but the new GT350 Heritage edition shows color combination still looks good on S550s. The color is apparently called Guardsman Blue. I haven't been able to find stripes in the exact right color, as far as I can tell from photos I've seen.

Does anyone know of a place that sells stripes or vinyl material that match Ford colors? Or do you think I can buy these stripes directly from Ford, or Shelby? Any other suggestions, besides painting?

(I also want the rocker stripes, except saying "GT".)

I re-striped my car using the kit from Big Worm Grafix. I was able to e-mail them and have them send me a few samples before I settled on a color combo. I'm sure they'd do the same for you. You can also order samples of blue off of many other vinyl websites and that would open up everything that Oracle, 3M, and Avery have available for example.

Interesting...I've spoken (by email) with someone at BWG, and was never offered any samples.

If you are looking specifically for Guardsman Blue it's going to need to be paint. Unless Big Worm can custom make it for you.

Big Worm seemed to only want to suggest to me which color they thought was closest.

I haven’t started this yet, but I’m going to start talking to some vinyl graphics shops, especially the places that make full-color advertising or other graphics as vehicle wraps. Those are printed. So I’m wondering if they can just print the color on some vinyl.
