I put the windows down and disconnected the battery.

And now the windows do not go up. I have searched here with no success.
Lots of window re-sets that all seem to start with the windows UP. I tried those anyway. I tried them in reverse order. (UP position first) I can hold the switches up or down all day and don't get any results.

Maybe it’s related to what was done between disconnecting and reconnecting the battery. Fuse? Surely you didn’t just disconnect the batt and then immediately reconnect it again.

Check the fuse under the passenger side kick panel labeled "switches". I think it's number 22 or 23.

Dumb question, but if you used a fuse adder on that circuit (ie, as a remote turn on for an amp), did you put 2 fuses back in it?

ain’t no dumb questions around here, lol…a good friend of mine may or may not have left a red shop rag in a cylinder long ago in a galaxy far away, which stopped the 408 Kenne Bell stroker from turning over until the dummy that put it there, disassembled the whole top end and removed said shop rag 🙈

…he still buys my beer to this day 😬

Lol. Did somewhat the same thing with blue shop towels in the intake ports on a VW. I thought about it before I cranked it over, stuffed an inspection mirror down the intake and was like "son of a bitch".

Experience is is what let's us recognize a mistake.. when we make it again. 😀

Thank you ALL for the input!! The circuit tap seems to be the issue. One side of it seems to have power when I push on it a bit, (Like with a DVOM probe.) but not in a relaxed position. Like when I'm NOT pushing on it! I had limited time to play with it yesterday, but will get out there today.
Thanks again!!

Just to close the lid on this. It WAS the circuit tap. It had a bit of plastic overmold in one of the female fuse receptacles. You guys who have used them know the position they are in (#23 in the kick panel). I was able to get a voltage reading, but had to apply some force to get the probe to make contact into the end of the fuses. With the pressure released, the contact went away. Took 2 or 3 repeat checks before I noticed the voltage dropping as I pulled the probe away.
Autozone gave me a new one. 5 or 6 minutes after I got home with the replacement, the windows were operating normally. And the audio upgrades were worth the effort!
Thanks again for all the input!
