I need tires

What I have noticed about GY is that with 60% life left they don't have any traction. Not a fan.

I found just the opposite, at least on the F1 A/S

123k on my 17 GT. Can't remember what it came with (Pirelli's?). I've had Hankook, which I always put on my 02 GT, Michelins (high and not as high $), and Continentals. The Continental ExtremeContact DWS 06 Plus has been the best over the Pilots.

Ok, help me decide.

DWS 06 and Pilot sport 4 A/S are the same price.

I must admit I do like the look of the Michelin but what tire would you pick?

I've had both on my 2017 GT. I like the Continentals, on my 3rd set now.

Both are good. In general, my experience with Michelin is that they wear faster. I’ve had to replace 80,000 mile rated Michelin tires at 20,000 miles on my wife’s SUV. Replaced them with Conti’s and almost 40,000 miles in on those tires there’s still plenty of tread left.

That's not true the US does produce rubber for tires that are produced here. There are also foreign tire Mfgs in the US that also use US produced rubber. They also use synthetic rubber and or a blend of both.

Not all the Michelin tires are US made some of the pilot sports are but they will say that on the side of the tire next to the DOT date stamp

I use to own a tire retail out let. I was the owner and operator. I did all sales and service, mounting and balancing and tire repairs. The name of my store was (Broken Spokes Tire Service) I did motorcycles, car, trucks, lawnmowers, farm implement, trailers, motorhomes.

The DWS-06 have been made in the US and may still be, but to be sure you would have to look at the DOT stamp on the tire to know. They may have out sourced the Mfg.
