let me start off by saying i have a base model gt and upgraded my sync to the 8 in screen i had no problems for 2 years but yesterday i decided to update my sync to the latest verison that i saw online i did by usb the download was successful but once i cut the car back on the theme on the screen looks like it went back to the 4in screen display any help with switching the theme back to the 8in full screen

I know on the 2020+ explorers, when you upgrade screen size from the 8" to the 10.1" there is a setting in forscan that you can change so the screen displays correctly. I would start there and see what you can find.
