Once you're driving it routinely, don't freak out when the volt-meter drops below 14.5 volts. The volt-meter is reading what the alternator is putting into the battery, not what voltage the battery is at.

Once the battery is charged it will drop down to 12 or so volts.

Yes, I noticed that recently! Why the heck is my battery at 15V!... figured it was another reading.
