I'm sorry for the lack of updates again. There was an unfortunate tragedy though. The last wheel was in the process of drying when it fell off the sawhorse it was on. It was pretty devistating to say the least. I had to start all over from square one. I was so upset about it I couldn't even assess the damage for a couple days. This whole process has been so much work. While I could have paid someone to do them and I would have been done already, I really wanted to do them myself. Just for the satisfaction. Guess I got what I asked for, right?

The last coats of clear will go on over the weekend. Again. TPMS are here and waiting. As soon as this last wheel is dry, tires will be mounted.

Again, I apologize for giving everyone blue balls. Hopefully the next update will be the finished product.

Update from hell.

It rained for damn near 40 days and 40 nights preventing me from painting. I was just about to start my ark project when it cleared up here. Wheels are painted, again. Clear is drying as we speak. Taking them to my guy this weekend to have them mounted. The end is near.

My apologies again to anyone waiting for the results of this. Thanks for the patience everyone.

dude I wished it rained here in CA for 40 days, we need it lol.

Dont rush It and take ur time.
I know y'all need it, but it gets kind of old after awhile.

I feel like a kid waiting for Christmas, I'm so excited to get these on the car.

I wanted to say thanks for this and reference it again. A local dealership wanted $48 EACH for TPMS sensors!!!! Yet another dealer wanted $36 each. Crazy....
I got them for ~$25 each. I asked the second parts person I talked to if they would price match. She said "possibly, if you can prove it". Made my day to prove that bi**h wrong. Lolz.

makes me wanna go start finishing wheels myself also lol.
If an amateur like me can do it, it should be a walk in the park for you.

Now that I've done it once and have access to a blaster, I might try and pick up another set and try it again to maybe sell them.
