O2 sensors don't 'wear out' and then throw a open circuit code. Something is wrong in the wiring harness or the wires going to the sensors. Post pictures on how your front o2s look like and how the wires are routed on your car

I even swapped the 02 sensor extensions. I swapped the passenger side 02 sensor extension to the driver side. Driver side was reading air fuel..passenger side still isn't reading air fuel.

Next swap o2 sensors and see if the problem follows the sensor or stays with the engine harness.

Look at the 02 sensors and wires going to the sensor real close. The pics of wires you showed look like o2 extensions but I don't see the actual o2 sensor and wires

I'm stuck... I just replaced the 02 sensor on the passenger side bank 1 sensor 1 and it died before I got out of the driveway. Wires aren't touching anything. Brand new BBK 02 extensions and a new 02 sensor. I moved the bank 1 sensor 1 passenger side 02 sensor, to the driverside bank 2 sensor 1 02 side..now the driverside isn't working and the passenger side is working. I don't know what else to do

This was the first code that popped up yesterday after the sensor failed. I googled the code of course but I still don't know where to look to fix the problem. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks

Then right after that code. I got this code..which basically the 02 sensor is broken

Ok. I’m trying to follow along but not sure I got it. The sensor you moved was before these pics of the codes above or after? Did the codes follow the sensor you moved or stayed in the same spot? If the code moved, I would look at that specific sensor and harness. If it stayed in the same spot, you need to start searching upstream of the harness and follow it up to where it goes looking at the wiring itself.

So

Sorry I'm trying to make it make sense myself lol. Those codes that I sent a picture of were before I moved the 02 sensor to the driverside (bank 2 sensor 1). I've always had the open bank 1 sensor 1 code come on. I moved the bank 1 sensor 1 sensor to the bank 2 sensor 1 location(driverside) and it threw a open bank 2 sensor 1 code so yes the code followed the sensor. I've replaced both 02 sensor extensions on the driverside and the passenger side.

Thats crazy. If the code location followed the sensor and harness you replaced, logically it would seem that is the issue.
I would put in a known GOOD sensor and extension and see what comes up then. Know anyone nearby that can trade sensors for a try?
Hate throwing money at it but it’s silly... buy 4 new sensors and harnesses and see where the chips fall. Wonder about the PCM next...

I'm praying it's not the pcm. Whatever it is, its killing my 02 sensor. This is the 4th 02 sensor I've bought since October of last year. But this is the first time the 02 sensor has died literally once I installed it and pulled out of the driveway.
