Hypermotive !!

A word about hypermotive and Jason Micallef. As many know, I chose this team to tackle a rather extensive build. I shipped my car from NJ to NC for the MPR motor swap, clutch, transmission, driveshaft, half shafts, bmr suspension goodies, air lift 3p system, Armageddon tt system, AMS2000 boost control with C02 setup, Fore triple pump return style fuel system, custom underhood accessories including custom boss intake/cover, custom headlights, cervini hood, multiple sets of wheel/tire combos, AP Racing brakes… Probably missing a few things. I have never met Jay, only conversations over the phone a couple years back when I had the gt500, and when planning this build. Even so, I felt I had a good sense of the man… I trusted him completely and it turned out it was the right move to do so. As a mustang enthusiast/consumer, I am well aware of the fact that you can buy parts in many places and all over the internet. You may even be able to find a shop to do the work for you. What I was looking for and what I think most of us value in this industry, and not to mention is rare, is a partner that has integrity, trustworthiness, truthfulness, great character, honesty, fairness.. etc. There were many occasions where Jay went to bat for me and took care of complex issues. Very much beyond the call of duty without a doubt. As a business owner myself, I have learned a lot over the past year. The value of respect, level headedness, and trust when dealing with consumers. I have probably been annoying at times, peppering Jay with 100’s of questions, concerns, fears, etc, but Jay stayed even tempered and and never once (trust me, he had many chances to) changed his level headed respectful tone. To me this adds tremendous value to the product/service he sells/sold me. I learned that with Jay/hypermotive, you’re not just getting a part/service, you’re getting someone that truly keeps your best interests in mind at all times. You’re partnering with a first class human being. So Jay, if you read this, I thank you, thank you for taking on this build, taking charge, leading, and delivering a result that exceeded all expectations. And thank you for being an outstanding example of what a business owner, and person in general, should strive to be. You’re a rare find my friend, and wish you all the success in the world. :cheers:

WOAH, that is a SH*T load of things you got done. It's almost like you got a whole new car. With all those items to be installed, tweaked and tuned, it would be VERY easy to have something be not quite right. But getting it back 100% perfect is saying a lot about their attention to detail.

Lucky you. Finding a quality shop is like finding a needle in a haystack. I can tell you many horror stories about dealing with shops here in jersey while building my 95GT into a drag car.

Same here in NY and that's why I drove 9 hours to Hypermotive's shop in NC for my Whipple, OPG and TG install.

Jay and his team are topnotch. I recommend them any chance I get. Hypermotive is the real deal and words can't convey how great they are to work with.

Exactly. I can't find a quality shop in SE Tennessee so I will probably end up shipping mine somewhere to have any major work done.

Saw your car in person a few times during the build and the near finished product, and it's a beaut for sure. Did they ever tackle what that draw was? I know that was plagueing them for a bit

Worth the drive I'm sure! What part of Putnam are you in? I grew up in Orange County. Worked in Putnam alot.

I live in Mahopac and work down in Yonkers. Yeah, it was definitely worth the trip down. Took a few days off from work and made a little mini vacation out of it while the car was worked on.

Good deal, Mahopac is definitely a nice area. I used to run sales routes out that way from Mahopac all the way up to Millerton.

I do miss the rural areas sometimes.
