HRE and FlowForm Wheels at SEMA 2014

Thank you to all who came out and stopped by the HRE and FlowForm booths at SEMA. We introduced the FF15 (IPA Bronze, shown on the Brembo display), the new multi-spoke FlowForm design, along with two, Mustang-specific RTR-branded designs by HRE shown below (RTR Tech 7 (green wheel), RTR Tech Mesh).

The CorteX Racing Mustang featured the FF15 on the driver's side and FF01 on the passenger side. The Gibson Exhaust Mustang featured the FF15 in Tarmac.

Yes, the RTR wheels are available in a variety of HRE finishes, including Brushed.

Big fat Toyo R888 285/35 20 front and 315/30 20 rear. In case you don't know, the R888 run very wide.

What do you mean by "run very wide?"

What do you mean by "run very wide?"

Means they say they are 285 but measure more like a 295 or larger.

R compound race tires commonly are this way because tire size is usually defined in each of the class rules (ie you cannot run larger than a 285). So manufactures make their 285 as wide as a 295 tire. I think Hoosier may have been the first ones to make "wide" tires. Now it seems everyone is doing it to be able to compete.
