... If the harness plug has the pin outs for it but no wire then you can easily add the pins and add a separate wire. This is the most likely scenario. Im doing this on my 09 GT500 for retrofitting 13/14 GT500 puddle lights
When you get into the mirror upgrade project on your '09, if you think of it, please post back here how you ran your wires and if your harness/connector had wires/pins for (in your case) puddle lights. But if these were not an option for '09... never mind on that part. ;)

Thanks for the info. It sounds like I'd need to price out full mirror assemblies and figure out a way to run wires for the blinkers (and I guess puddle lights since they will likely be in those 'Premium' mirrors too).

Sure will do. The 09s didnt have the option nor the mirrors to support it. Only the 13/14 GT500's did. I ordered teh 13/14 GT500 mirrors and soon as I get it back from the fab shop I can start in on the project. Should be similar to this project.

You have a 07-09 GT500 too?

The plug itself is capable of holding the wires, they are just empty. I believe the actual connectors are the same regardless of options.
I suposse a wiring diagram is needed to see where you need to run the wire(s) to. Maybe if its easier you can just wire it to the front turn signals? However I suspect that the mirror signals flash alternating of the other signals to reduce amperage loads

I'm going to end up putting the turn signals in the mirror too. Part of the importation process in England is the "Light Conversion". They put turn signals on the side just above the badges, put amber led strips under the taillights and wired the taillights for rear fog lights. They pretty much take a nice, new vehicle and ruin it. The side signals are wired directly to the front turn signals. It works fine but it's an eyesore.

Resurrecting this thread as I just replaced my driver side mirror. The harness in my signal-equipped GT350R mirror was a serious bitch. In addition to removing the door panel, you have to remove the door speaker and reach between the inner and outer door panels to disconnect the mirror harness from the receptacle plug. It requires lots of blind single-handed manipulation of keyed and locking connectors with nothing but your fingertips to discern how it comes apart.

Got it done. Don't want to do it again.
