How to launch using 2 step? Preload trans?

Somone mentioned its best to preload the trans on a manual instead of side stepping the clutch, but how do you preload it ? Im looking forward to install a 2 step and would like some info on this to get the best 60' posible

a 2 step you just mash the gas pedal to the floor, the car will hold at the preset rpm, light comes down, pop the clutch and go

Hold the clutch right at the edge of grip and then switch feet. Not really a hard dump from the floorboard.
