Morning everyone,

I have an ecoboost and as wondering if anyone has actually found a way to increase the 'fake engine' noise in their ecoboost?

I will not be getting an exhaust for this car, because I don't care for the sound. However, I kind of like the 'fake' engine noise and would like to increase the volume.

Would love to know if anyone has done this and if there is a way to adjust it.

Thanks!

The only way to adjust it is to disable it.

You could probably download a high quality sound clip of a GT350 exhaust or something and play that over Bluetooth from your phone ;)

As a side note I think the fake engine noise amounts increase if you are in Sport or Track mode (if you have that available). This is just something I have noticed in my car but it could just be tied to the throttle directly and be a result of the increased throttle response I am not sure. Or it could just be placebo effect. I don't have any evidence to back it up.
