I'm 51 and have had many cars that amount to transportation except for my first Mustang a 94 GT that I built up with heads and a 1.5 Kenne Bell. Most of my efforts went into the my 92 coupe which had a built motor and a unique 2.8L Kenne Bell with custom air to air. Check out the video.

1987: 1979 Volvo 244DL. Free because it didn't run. Four new fuel injectors fixed that. Transmission lasted a week. (start of my dislike for automatics) Swapped in a manual.
1988: 1988 Toyota Corolla FX (couldn't pull off the 86 Mustang GT I wanted-Insurance)
1990: 1987 Thunderbird Turbo Coupe. Tried really hard to find an SVO I could afford but needed a car too badly to wait any longer.
1993: 1990 300ZX non turbo Automatic. Price was right. Transmission lasted 3 months. Seeing a pattern?
1994: 1979 RX-7. $500. Too much fun. Smoked like a freight train after I blew an apex seal.
1994: 1994 Mustang Cobra. Black and Tan. Delivered in May after a 2 month wait.
1995: 1995 Honda Civic Coupe EX. Spoiler delete and ABS.
1996: 1982 280zx. Paid $450 broken transmission. $25 input shaft cover, $30 countershaft bearing and a $5 seal good to go. Hit by landscaping truck insurance paid $1900.
1997: 1978 F250 460. Still have it even though it's totaled. Saving parts for an idea.
1998: 1987 Gray Market BMW 535. No AC, Heated leather seats, power front, manual rear windows. Loved this car. Really light.
2001: 1997 E150 Club Wagon 4.6. Band Van. Sold/given to my last band in 2006. Still on the road now at over 400k miles.
2002: 1965 Plymouth Sport Fury. 383 factory air car. had to rebuild automatic transmission. Still have it. Going through a rustoration right now.
2002: 1970 Chrysler Newport Station Wagon. Brady Bunch brown. 383, Suregrip 3.55. Paid $500. Excellent condition. A month later a movie props rental guy had to have it. Sold $1500.
2003: 1979 Gray Market BMW 635csi. 5 speed dogleg transmission.
2003: 1984 RX-7 GSL. Really loud. Traded a kegerator and a ladder for it.:cheers: Ex wife gave it away while I was on a business trip in 06'.
2006: 1987 BMW 535is. Sold my other 535 to my brother and missed it. Turboed this one. Was a great sleeper.
2006: 1955 Chevy 2 door post. Pulled it out of the woods behind my house. Future patina rod project with drivetrain from 78 F250 mentioned above.
2007: 1993 F350 4x4 Diesel. Still on the farm. I'm not.
2008: 2006 F250 4x4 King Ranch Diesel. 6.0 and I loved it.
2010: 1980 Trans Am Indianapolis Pace Car. Had to rebuild automatic transmission. Another Rustoration project at the moment.
2010: 2007 Mustang GT Premium. Still have this one. Track Car? Maybe.
2015: 2015 Ecoboost PP Premium.

So yeah that's about it for now. A few bikes in there as well but that's not what this thread is about.
