Dear all,
I have UPR dual valve catch can, with PCV valve gutted
Just after 150/200 miles is already half filled.
I made a lot of pull in this period because I was still tuning my car.
My car is FBO with vergas stage 2, E30, 25 psi

Is it normal to have found so much oil?
Don't forget I gutted the pcv valve

Thanks

It's hard to say. I suspect each car is a bit different depending on boost settings, how well the engine was broken in, etc. The factory PCV system incorporates an air/oil separator that returns oil to the sump. If you have bypassed that system then all the oil that used to return to the sump is now going into your catch can. You will get more oil through the PCV plumbing when running the engine at higher power. Does the installation instructions that came with the catch can recommend gutting the factory PCV system? If so, I would contact UPR with your question. They should have an idea of what you should expect from using their product.

Every oil change, with temp changes and driving condition changes you can have different volume levels during different times of the year so.

On my original factory block with cylinder 3 on its way out, on E30, boosting it every day, I used to drain 1-2 oz out every 1000 miles. On my rebuilt bottom end I do it every oil change and there's 1 oz in there at the most. I don't punish it nearly as hard as I did before. Its going to depend on many factors: mods, boost, and abuse. Half full after 200 miles seems like quite a bit.

When I had the EB mine was almost full every 3000 miles when the oil was changed, worse in the cold weather.

Maybe I abused my engine a lot in this period
Now I will try to keep a slow ride for 1000 miles and I will check oil q.ty in the catch can
