Thanks man. I was reading a few about these S550 engine and the borderline is 800 rwhp. Probably stay @ 600 rwhp at this time. I’ll ask the shop tomorrow and let see what they say. There’s no magic number. Be extremely careful with car and it can last a while at high 700s, be careless and it can blow at 600whp.
Sounds good to me. I’ll keep that in mind. A lot of different numbers here. I guess driving stupid, bad tune, and poorly built engine from the factory are most likely the culprit. I’ll be going to the shop and talk details and what part comes with the P-1SC. I was told everything but what are everything lol. I’d like to know if I’m getting a fuel injectors and fuel pump.I think the mid 700's even upper has been done so many times, it's proved to be holding together well at that power level. With that said I just saw Cody Batton of Batton Motorsports and his twin turbo 15 GT has been raced beaten and recently put down 980 wheel and is still taking it with stock motor and damper only OPG upgrade.
P1 ain't no chumpP1SC-1 will give you all you want. I started with the HO set-up with the stage 2 IC. Put down 630/490 on 93 with Lund tune. Quickly went to E85 and did 710/550 with no other changes. Went to the complete stage 2 setup (still on the P1SC-1) and went with the 3.85 pulley..775/595. Stock motor internals - has Intake manifold, long tubes no cats, ID1000's and Sai Li fuel system on Lund tune. More changes coming very soon - need to get in that 800+ club.
