I put mine in a local show sponsored by the Corvette club. It's a fund raiser for the local high school auto tech program. Only reason I did it was because this time last year, there were not a lot of them in our area. Of course my '66 stole the show in early Mustangs, and I couldn't park them next to each other since it was different classes. They were by years.
I've entered mine in I think 3 so far. Won one "Best In Class Modified 1994-2015" award at a local Mustang show, and a top 50 from another show. I think the last car show I went to must have given out numerous awards and the newest car was like from the 1980s or something.
I really only look forward to mustang shows when it comes to awards and stuff. The old ass cars always take everything home if it's a show that has like 150+ random cars.
We have another one coming up at Robinson Brothers Ford out here in like 3 weeks and I'll be there again. I've added a ton of stuff since September, so it should be interesting.
Have been doing car shows for many years
with the:
Capri
Supra 2.8i and 3.0
MR2
Crossfire
Mustang and won a price last year with the S197
Its a total buzz
Great fun, and a good day out, and also we do a lot for Charity and the services
Am booked in for 6 so far this year, once I get the motor
Went to the national show in St. Augustine recently, it was a blast, my car didn't qualify, needs to be at least two years old, plus haven't really done any mods to it yet.
