Small kink in the schedule for me, original tracking info gave yesterday as the delivery date, still not there today so I called cassens to see if anything happened given its only a 400 mile trip. The truck broke down and is now in the shop for repairs, should be delivered tomorrow. Hopefully nothing happens to the car in their shipping yard

It seems some R's are getting moved now as well. Me likey.

Not sure if anyone else's R model has recently been moved out but mine has now just been moved out by a month from the first week of February to the first week in March.

I guess that should not be surprising based on it being moved out at least 10 times previous to today.

I have an official order and FP can see it but it has no VIN. Just material hold. To be honest though maybe things have changed because that was 3-4 weeks ago and I just have given up and got tired of bothering FP people for nothing.

I called the Ford Rep over my 'dealership' and she said I would get a VIN # and a schedule date the first week of March...oh well 2 more months.. if only I was a Billionaire, or a Ford Rep..:shrug:maybe things would be different..lol

Someone needs to check on this guy. We haven't heard from him since his car arrived at the dealer. I'm getting a little worried. I could go down there and break it in for ya... I'll send you a video of that;) I still don't know how yours arrived at the dealer before mine:doh:

I think it was just luck of the draw to go via convoy instead of rail (perhaps was just inside the delivery radius?).

I'm guessing the rail bound cars need to wait around for the whole train to be loaded, probably takes a bit longer than loading up a single transporter. But I still need to overnight all of the paperwork back and forth and then arrange transport, so I am likely still looking at ~2 weeks before I see the car in person :cheers:

You said yours goes by convoy as well, so should be pretty fast to PA. Unless the pending stormageddon they are talking about snarls things.
