That's crazy, man. What's taking mine so long?
Your order a plain Jane or performance blend ? Plain Jane's get popped out like hamburgers at the drive thru. Performance blend, at the end of the line.

I once saw a clip on Utube, some guy orders a Mustang the way he wanted it. Cuts a clip whining how long his car is taking. Dealer fixes it, sells him another, parks his car in the lot when it arrives.

The clip him eating CROW, dealer must have had a sense of humor. Cause he calls the buyer tells him his car is in.

Next scene, him looking at the car he ordered, eating humble pie. Sometimes waiting for what you want, the best choice.

Ordered my car last year November, took delivery April the 15, best damn tax day ever had.

Keep you chin up.

Yeah, it's a Performance Blend with all the options. But it's now on the slow boat from Flat Rock. No rail tracking info available yet.

I'm planning on flying out the 16th. My son and I are going to drive it home!

Yeah, my wife and I are also driving back. Having a long overdue honeymoon.

A10. I did manual in my Corvettes. Left knee can't take it anymore. I'm excited to drive the A10 as I've heard great things. Zach is throwing on a Roush Stage II. That's why I have to wait until at least the 15th as that's when they're releasing the Tune.

I have to teach the lad how to drive a stick. Is yours manual or auto?
Not really sure teaching your kid to drive a stick on a brand new Mustang is the best idea...?

Well, he's a well-paid 24 year old mechanical engineer. I have every confidence? We'll see.

OK, that could be different.

My wife's son is the worst driver I've ever seen. He literally almost kills me every single time I give him driving lessons. If I tell him to turn left he runs off the road into the woods on the right. I pray he never gets his license.

I ordered my Mustang on 02/01/2020 and it was delivered to the dealership 03./17/2020. Got an HPP with everything but the A10 and Recarros. Mine was built just before the pandemic hit full throttle so perhaps the downturn in sales had decreased activity at Flat Rock.

I do think certain options delay construction of the car. I was at one point debating on getting the Midnight Blue with Grabber Blue Stitch seats. The dealer said that would delay the build four weeks. Ultimately, I went with Magnetic paint and ebony seats.

Nevertheless, I didn’t pick it up until 05/05/2020 since Salt Lake went into hard lockdown.

Mine showed up at the dealer, on the Monday of its scheduled build week. That Monday was also the scheduled "Job 2" date, for two of my options.

My salesman called and left me a voice msg that Monday. I wasn't in any rush to call him back since I was just assuming he was calling to tell me was Mustang was scheduled to be built that week (which I already knew). I was totally surprised when I did call him back, and he told me my Mustang was in, and I needed to come and pick it up before they closed.

Your dealer is full of crap. Midnight Blue w/ Grabber blue stitch doesn't delay the car by a month

What? That is impossible. A dealer that doesn't know what they are talking about? I've never heard of such a thing.

I'd rather have the factory take the extra time to make better final adjustments, paint inspection, etc., than to rush it out so I can spend my days getting it all corrected after I receive the car.
what delusion are you under that Ford does ANY of that?
LOL. I almost sprayed my monitor with a mouthful of water.

My '15 was built 45 days behind schedule, and had glaring fit and finish issues. I can assure you there were/are no white glove treatments going on.
