How long are new orders taking now?

Now that they are in the full swing of things are new orders estimated to be taking a full 90 days now? I was looking at putting in my order first of the year so I could possibly have a spring delivery but was wondering if they are able to get them out in 60 days now. Back in 08 when I ordered my BMW it was here in 90 days and that included a trip across the ocean so I was hoping it would take less time with the plant actually being in the US.

Ordered 11/30 and scheduled to take delivery 12/27-1/02. Looks like things are moving along quickly at this point.

I ordered on 5 December, received my VIN on the 11th. Talked with Rachel on the 11th and had a build date of 26 Jan. today it moved to 2 Feb. so 10 weeks is probably fair.

I don't think there is an easy answer here. It really depends on location, dealership, features, etc. Some people are getting really short times while others are getting really long times regardless of when they ordered. I would think, though ,that once the back log of verts gets out after the holidays that 6 - 8 weeks would be a safe estimation with 10-12 weeks being the extreme.

I ordered 11/22, VIN on 12/4 per Rachel potential build date of 1/26 and
delivery sometime late Feb. Will be close to 12 - 13 week before mine
arrives.

I ordered on 11/25 with the dealer estimating a 9-12 week timeframe because of holidays. However, my car was built this week and is en route to Texas as we speak with an estimated delivery of 1/2. That will put me in the 6 week range, so it seems like things are picking up.

I ordered on 12/5. Do not have a VIN yet. Touched base with Rachel as she let me know there are no holds and scheduling will resume on 1/8.

Mine was ordered on 11/12, and delivered on 12/17.
But mine was ordered as priority 01, so maybe that helped.

Yah it's 100% determined on Priority number. I too was a Priority 1. Ordered 12/2, VIN assigned 12/4, built 12/15. EDD says 1/9 now but could be sooner because I believe it just shipped. So worst case for me is 5 weeks, likely less, around 4 weeks.
