Whenever I get home after a drive, I lift my hood and use the hood support on the center latch, it more evenly distributes the weight.

let the heat out so it doesn't bake the engine bay on an ongoing daily basis. been doing this for decades on almost all my cars.

I do the exact same thing. Great minds think alike.

Pretty hot as expected. I'm surprised how much heat keeps coming out of the heat extractors on the GT after the engine's turn off
