I picked this up on a highway a few years ago and lost all air in about 60 seconds. By some miracle, I made it to a park and ride in about 45 seconds after the TPMS light flashed on, just in time to get out of the car and hear the final pssshhhh.... It was buried in the tread all the way up to the little screw. You just never know what's out there.

I’m surprised I got away with it As long as I did on that last one I got. They don’t clean any highways in California. And the streets, where I work are constantly driven on by trucks carrying hundreds and hundreds of pallets. Nails falling out all over the place I’m sure.

We have not had a flat tire on my wife's SUV ever and she has had it for 15 years. Then she got two in two months. A screw in the left rear tire both times.
