I've been saving up for a few parts for my 4 month old GT, I want to keep the warranty so I'm limited. I plan to buy these in the next few weeks. Any suggestions or tips would be appreciated. I have a 16' GT premium automatic.

BMR 082r/089r springs
Koni Yellow Sport shocks/struts or Ford Track shocks/struts.
Ford Racing Track Sway Bars or Steeda
PMAS no-tune intake.

Do I need toe links?

Springs are a bit soft for the shocks you're looking at. I'd do Steeda fixed or stock PP shocks/struts with those springs. Do you have anything else for the IRS? Doing the cradle lockout kit improves the handling and feel of the car considerably, along with reducing wheel hop a ton. You want to get the IRS under control as a foundation before springs and dampers if you care about handling.

Your GT already has PP/track toe links, so nope. Like BmacIL said above, konis/tracks are way too much damper for 82/89. I would wait until you get dampers and springs before deciding on sways, you must gauge the effect of the suspension and your skill before deciding if you need more anti-roll. I still haven't decided to change mine.

Thanks. I'll look into the cradle lockouts. Can you recommend a reasonably priced set? How about the new Steeda adjustable shocks?

Thanks. I don't have a PP car. Does the non PP GT still have the PP toe links? And do you guys know if any companies make springs with a small .5"-.75" drop that would be a better match for the Koni's? I feel like an inch might be a bit to much for my daily driver. I prefer to have a little wheel gap.

Yeah, all GT's have the PP toe link. I don't know about EB and V6's thou.

I was faced with the same dilemma...I ended up using FR track dampers, GT350R front springs (0.75" drop) and BMR SP085 handling rear (0.5" drop). Unfortunately, the product range for "our market" (minimal drop) is rather small. There is a thread on the suspension forum (GT350 spring on a GT, something like that) that describe all of these findings and options.

Thanks for the tip. How do you like how yours turned out? I see the GT350r front springs are reasonably priced ($80). I can get the dampers for like $650 or so I believe and the rear BMR 085 for $130. Are the 085's too harsh for a daily driver though? I might hit a road course once a year or so, the rest of the time I will be on the street.

A lot of places had the BMR CB005 on sale for $169.99 for BF...if they're still going, I'd do that. Lethal Performance has that going still, using coupon code BMR @ checkout.

The current deal on the Steeda adjustables is amazing too. If you can spring for those, that would be an excellent choice. On their softer settings, they will work very well with the BMR SP089/82 springs.

Great. Thanks. I'm leaning towards the 082/089 with Steeda Adjustables and the CB005 lockout. Thank God for this forum or I'd be running some messed up suspension.

2015Etrac Unless your doing a TON of racing, I think you will be very happy with the black friday sale on the fixed Steeda shocks/struts.

Thanks. These would pair well with the softer BMR springs? You think the adjustable would be overkill for someone who might hit the track once a year or so? That is a great price on the set. I just grabbed a Steeda CAI during the sale today.
