5500 mile and my rears still look relatively new, should easy get 10k from them
4K on mine, and despite line lock demos, loads of below 5.0 sec 0-60 runs, some fairly hard N. Wales early morning runs..... Still loads of life left:D...

I suppose showing off drifting around roundabouts and pulling out of junctions is what fucks em up:lol::lol:

I've got a track day next week, I plan to use up 90% of my tread and then replace them in Sept :D

Yep, used my P Zeros up doing just that and then put some decent rubber on.
MPSS in a different league
Its OK buddy let the guys who rate Pzero stay on them, they clearly know better. :)

Guess so, but hey at least MPSS will give me twice the mileage if not more whilst still being a total hooligan whilst providing more grip and feedback in all conditions. :)

You won't see one person saying the Pzero is better than the MPSS on this forum in any region.

Don't be so narrow minded to think you know better, it is widely known and accepted upgrade that the MPSS are a vastly superior tyre and work great on the Mustang, but hey what do the other members here know, you clearly know best.... :headbonk:

Wasn't really going to post on this thread - tempting fate an all that - but fwiw the PZeros seem to suit my needs for now. When it comes time to replace I'll seek the advice of those with more experience but my car is a fair weather toy and if it rains when I'm out I slow down. Last car and current daily are/were on Potenzas which do the job so having to change fitment is a new thing for me.
How good the PZs are in summer is only half the story. It needs cross-checking with driving style and vehicle usage.

Lol, careful. You may get some 'kettle calling the pot black' comments!.....just saying.

I do agree though. I am no expert but all I know is where the P Zeros scare the living daylights out of me in the wet and cold, the MPSS's are completely different but I could see how they would suit others, especially anyone used to a 400+ bhp beast with rwd.

Also, I did less than 5000 miles on the P Zeros and was alarmed by the wear rate. I have done 4500 on the MPSS's and they look great still. Driving style change? Yeh, I drive generally harder and faster than I did now. You can tell by my average MPG dropping!

Anyway, we will get in trouble for going off topic.

Think we were all thinking the same... Not his wife either, naughty Gibbo !

And back on topic...

Mine are fine, I'm still going MPSS's when the tyres need replacing. Actually, my Pzeros are so 'Fine' in the summer that I've started to push them more in corners and they do stick quite well - Experience of them in the wet? Like ice skating for the first time - weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee skiddy!

I still like the playing the game buddy, so no wife, maybe one day I will calm down, but not right now. She fully approves of the Mustang but complained the roof line was too low. ;)

Sorry if I've got under your skin, but I'm not taking this lying down
You're the one that's always telling everyone else what they should and shouldn't be doing to their cars.
Go back and read some of you're posts dude.....just yesterday you were trying to talk a new member out of SCing their car.

So to clarify
I never said that the Pzeroz were better than the michelins......I never said they last longer....

To refresh your memory, I said there's "Nowt wrong with them, and I'd done just over 4K on them"
In other words I'm happy with them hence I've bought a new set... The thread is titled "how are your tyres now it's summer" I was giving my opinion.

I would NEVER presume to tell anyone else what to do with their cars or money.
I'm happy to explain what I've done, and happy to give an honest review of the results. which is exactly what I've done here.....I'm happy to accept that there are other opinions and views...

For the record... wet grip on the Pirellis is A and on the michelins it's B

I normally can't be arse to get into forum spats, and I try to off helpful advice, and a bit of banter..... But on this occasion, im going to defend myself.

Sticky leather is never good... Sticky rubber however is.

I'll leave that to your imagination as to whether I'm staying on topic or not ;)!
