Just announced: 2017 Camaro 1LE package.

All the right stuff. And more. Available on LT V-6, too.
Tires, wheels, e-diff, e-dampers, performance data recorder, HUD, etc.
Available Sept/Oct with 2017 model year production.
Could be trouble. Price as yet unknown. V-8 version only on 1SS manual.

Anybody need a clean low-miles S550? Glad I saw this before I pulled the trigger on those new light weight wheels and big $$$ dampers....

California - it's 86 degrees in SoCal today!

I bet the v6 1LE will keep up with the GT PP on a race track and get better mileage too.

It's OKAY folks! We pay on average $1.50 more for a gallon of gas out here. That's why he's thinking about a V-6 1LE on a race track....:shrug:

I hope that's why....:doh:

i still like our chances there, and i've got my money where my mouth is :D

I plan on staying in FS until it becomes clear that I have advanced as far as I can as a driver or innovation renders my current car non-competitive. After that I will have to look at ESP / STP / CAM as inclination and budget dictate. Properly set up, I think the s550 chassis is going to be very competitive for a long time.

That would take some work to change back from ESP.

You mean the V6 Pony package isn't the fastest Mustang available? Where did I say I wanted to compete? Please use quotations. Also, I'll kindly accept payment in cash, check, card or Paypal in the $30k difference in mine and a GT350R.

The SS is already right on the GT350's number in places, the 1LE will be faster but likely fall just short of the GT350R.
