My drivers side is fine, but my passenger side fender-hood gap especially by the headlight is larger than it is on the drivers side... trying to even it out... how can I do that without taking it to the dealer?

Thanks

Loosen the one front fender bolt just a smidgen & gently push the front part of the fender inward to adjust it accordingly.

I had my entire front end replaced by a third party collision center, and although the panel alignment is 100% uniform (better than it was from the factory with uneven pinched gaps), both of my fender/hoop gaps are as wide as your passenger side. I would love to know if there's a solution for this as well.

Try backing out the bolt more, like a quarter out and try again. Loosen the next bolt up as well.

I forget sometimes that the fenders & hood are aluminum; they don't flex as easily as steel panels.

My son has a Guard V6 that had the same issue, but on the drivers side and pushed in instead of a wide gap. I got it adjusted it in one push.

Mine is exactly like yours. Same fender and all, but I didn't notice mine until I drove it a couple days. I think I see things that others don't even notice. I think I will take mine back to the dealer for fear of making it worse if my husband tries to do it :D

Might be easier to have the hood adjusted left to right to make the hood to fender gaps the same. I had a Toyota truck that had different gaps and adjusting the hood made it perfect.

Just part of the "break-in" period...lol. Shake, rattle, re-tighten!!!:ford:

But seriously, has anyone been able to find a copy of the FSM floating around on the WEB yet?
I know the S550 is so new I doubt that it's be leaked but you never know.
There are body panel "gap" and "fair" dimensions with associated acceptable tolerances the manufacture has for all cars they produce.
It would be nice to know what they are for the Mustang...especially when you need to take the car back in to the dealership with concerns.

There is an attachment point fender to body about 12 inches from tip. It looks like a thin sheet of metal with one or two quarter sized holes in it. You can bend it and move the front of your fender in.....be careful. I also grabbed the inside of the fender in the wheel well and had a variety of alignment success

Are the bolted front fenders aluminum ?

I didn't realize ALL 2015 mustangs have aluminum front fenders. Now I am wondering if this "explains" anything about there being some gaps.

The photos of the OP'S fenders to me...the gaps look fine and I would not disturb or disrupt anything so long as nothing is rubbing. to me, you should Want some "gap" so when you drop the hood closed, you know the outside edges of the hood didn't scrape the fender. It looks very good to me.

The non-enthusiast (non mustang owner/non auto enthusiast) would never, ever, ever notice those gaps.
